Rules Plot Urgently Needed Characters Canon Students Canon Parents Application FAQ	We all know the story. You know, the one about how the youngest Jacobs child brought a gun to school and went on a rampage. For what reason he committed this horrible crime, nobody's quite sure. Well, none of us little people at least. Those on the inside certainly know all too well what made sweet, innocent little Jonah finally snap. All we can do though is wonder what finally pushed him over the edge. The Jacobs family has always been in the spotlight, along with the other 'A-List-Families' in New York. You know the type. Famous for something-or-other, big houses, shiny cars, and their children are perfectly bred specimens of New York wealth. Perfectly bred specimens with perhaps a bit too much pressure? Nah.... Surely it couldn't be the pressure of the perfect world Jonah lived in that made him pull the trigger on his classmates and teachers. Sure, he was never really in the spotlight as much as his older siblings were, but he was still known, if even just for being their sibling. Wasn't that what everyone craved anyway? Wasn't that good enough? Apparently not. Now Jonah's serving his time in juvi hall, and the graduated class of 2007 have gone their seperate ways to cope with their loss. Or so they've thought. For some reason, numerous of Preston Academy's, New York's most prestigious boarding school, alumni have winded up on the same small island of Aegina, at the same small college, Adrastos University. Is it fate? Or maybe something else? Seems that it's yet another unanswered question to add to the list that's already full of questions concerning the high class, seemingly perfect world we all live in. I figure we just need to give it time, and everything will become clear. Welcome to Adrastos University—rumors are so passé. So.....I'm a bit of a potty mouth. Can I swear here?
Certainly. The admin are all pretty bad potty mouths, so it'd be hypocritical to say you can't swear. In character or out, we really don't care. We'll all be swearing in both.

How long does it take to get accepted after posting an application, usually?
That depends. Usually a few hours, but if the admin are busy then it may take about a day. We DO have lives, believe it or not.

Could I be in a subplot?
Yes, but there are conditions to it. We're not going to write up subplots for just anyone. We're not going to make a subplot saying 'Candy and Bill hated each other but they end up together so it's okay.' No. It's not happening. We reserve the right to deny any subplot applications. Clear?

Someone has the same face claim as I do! What do I do?
Well, there is a face claim thread. And if the other person hasn't already posted there claiming the celebrity, feel free to post and claim him or her for yourself. It's only fair, and the other person did have a chance to do it before you, after all.

I'm going away for a few weeks but I don't want to lose my character. What do I do?
We have a board for that. Look at the bottom of the forum and find the board called 'Absences'. Just make a new thread and state what characters you have, when you're leaving and when you'll be back.

Can I be an admin, please please please?!
NO! I don't care WHO you are. We have like, six. So no. No admin for you. And besides, if you're some random person that just joined, there's no way in hell I'm going to give you admin powers to the board. Every once in a while we'll look for moderators, though.

The site is really slow right now and I want to RP.....What do I do?
It's simple. Advertise us on other boards. But if you do, please follow their rules because we don't need site admins getting pissed at us because YOU broke THEIR rules. Got it?

I'm new and kind of shy. I don't want to ask people to RP with me because I'm afraid they'll say no. What do I do?
We've got the perfect way to solve that. It's called the Buddy System, and was inspired by something similar on a board called New Hogwarts. If you apply, you'll be assigned a buddy to help you meet people here, show you the ropes and maybe even RP with you.

What're the rules on the more...'mature' threads?
There are none. Two of our admin are usually involved in one, so again, it'd be hypocritical to tell you you can't. Just make sure you put '[S]' in the topic title to warn those who aren't too big on the whole idea of character sex. Otherwise known as the prudes of the site. ;]
