We all know the story. You know, the one about how the youngest Jacobs child brought a gun to school and went on a rampage. For what reason he committed this horrible crime, nobody's quite sure. Well, none of us little people at least. Those on the inside certainly know all too well what made sweet, innocent little Jonah finally snap. All we can do though is wonder what finally pushed him over the edge.

The Jacobs family has always been in the spotlight, along with the other 'A-List-Families' in New York. You know the type. Famous for something-or-other, big houses, shiny cars, and their children are perfectly bred specimens of New York wealth. Perfectly bred specimens with perhaps a bit too much pressure? Nah....

Surely it couldn't be the pressure of the perfect world Jonah lived in that made him pull the trigger on his classmates and teachers. Sure, he was never really in the spotlight as much as his older siblings were, but he was still known, if even just for being their sibling. Wasn't that what everyone craved anyway? Wasn't that good enough? Apparently not.

Now Jonah's serving his time in juvi hall, and the graduated class of 2007 have gone their seperate ways to cope with their loss. Or so they've thought. For some reason, numerous of Preston Academy's, New York's most prestigious boarding school, alumni have winded up on the same small island of Aegina, at the same small college, Adrastos University.

Is it fate? Or maybe something else? Seems that it's yet another unanswered question to add to the list that's already full of questions concerning the high class, seemingly perfect world we all live in. I figure we just need to give it time, and everything will become clear.

Welcome to Adrastos University—rumors are so passé.

 Sitting at home
« Thread Started on Aug 19, 2007, 6:58pm »

Greg was laying back on the couch with his eyes closed. He had been there for what felt like hours, thinking about everything Ryan had been going on about. As a brother, Greg understood exactly what Ryan was trying to get at. On the other hand, he knew how much he loved Courtney. And the more it was talked about, the more he could see them having a kid. Of course, with college, things were difficult. Greg sighed and rubbed his eyes with the palms of his hands. Yup, he definitly wished they were back in high school so he didn't feel like he had to be responsible....at all.

Geeze. Boys suck. --No, wait. Brothers suck. Yeah, that sounded better. There were tons of boys that didn't suck - and brothers too, I suppose, Courtney thought dryly - though 'brothers' was a word that was a bit more narrowed down as far as accusations of suckiness went. Or narrowed down in general, actually. Oh, if only Ryan could gain back his less suckie personality. It'd make life so much easier for everyone. But would she get what she wanted? No, course not. The world didn't love her that much.

Entering the flat quietly, Courtney fought back a yawn as she threw down her purse on a table on her way into the living room without even bothering to kick off her shoes. Geeze. Arguing with Ryan was really starting to wear her out. The ass. Now he was affecting her energy too? Greaaaaaat; She'd have to smack him for that later. Spotting Greg on the couch with his eyes closed, Courtney laid down on top of him and kissed him lightly on the lips. "Hi babe." She said softly, stifling another yawn on the back of her hand as she laid her head down on his chest and closed her own eyes.

Pulling himself out of his thoughts when Courtney kissed him, Greg opened his eyes and smiled. He wrapped his arms around her lightly, closing his eyes once again to stray back to what he had been thinking. "You know..." Greg mummbled quietly. "...I think I might kill your brother. Either that or send him back to New York in a tightly sealed box. You wouldn't mind, would you?" He finished, grinning at the idea of Ryan trapped in a box. It would certainly give him something new to bitch about.

Greg shifted slightly under Court to make himself comfortable, still thinking about everything that had been happening with Ryan. It wasnt like any of this was any of his business after all. Sighing, Greg opened his eyes to look down at Courtney and he couldn't help but grin to himself as he watched her.

Courtney grinned as Greg spoke, but that was really before the image of her brother trapped in a tiny, tightly sealed box set in. And that was when she laughed, shaking her head as though that would make it a bit easier to breathe in between the fits of laughter she was currently experiancing. "No..." Courtney forced out when it was a bit easier for her to breathe. "...As long as I get to seal the box."

Settling herself back into him once the laughter had fully subsided, Courtney closed her eyes again. He was much more comfier than their bed. She figured there was no need for a bed when you had a boyfriend. You can sit on a boyfriend, sleep on a boyfriend, and do a few other things on a boyfriend that we won't go into right now. Either way, beds were beginning to seem more and more unnessecary as time went on.

"I think he needs to go bother someone else." Courtney muttered after a while, referring to her brother. "It's not really any of his business anyways. I vote we just have a kid to piss him off. Maybe that'd shut him up."

Greg cocked an eyerbow as he watched Courtney having a fit. He could supress the grin that was creeping on his face as she was laughing so hard at the idea of her brother being shut in a box. And he hadn't been kidding; Greg wanted nothing more right now then to shive Ryan into a box and send him back to New York. "Fine. But make sure you do it right. The seal has to be strong so we can't tell it was really a girl that sealed it." Greg joked, pulling her a little further up so he could rest his chin on the top of her head.

"Bother who, Court? Who's better to bother then you?" Greg asked with a smirk as he pulled her tighter to him. This was their flat, their life and they were going to do what they wanted with it. Screw Ryan and his over protective shit. "Ha, amen to that." Greg replied without opening his eyes. As long as they were together, they could get past Ryan and his shit. Hell, they could take over the entire world if they wanted to. Really...it could happen.

At Greg's comment about it the box having to look like a guy did it and not a girl, Courtney pouted. "That's not very nice, babe. Questioning my box-sealing-abilities, huh? Yeah. Not very nice." She teased as he pulled her up closer to him. "Uhm....." Courtney paused in thought, attempting to think of someone that she knew he enjoyed bothering more than her. "...Hayley! What about Hayley? Ryan can go bother the hell out of Hayley and then TA DA! I win, you win, we all live happily ever after. Well, 'cept for Hayley. But she doesn't count anyways." Courtney grinned.

Court bit down lightly on her bottom lip as she went over the last few months in her head. It seemed like it all just consisted of constant bickering, bitching and parenting. Everything now seemed tied in with a kid somehow or other. Courtney couldn't even pass a child on a street without Ryan making some comment about how 'she and Greg didn't want that'. How the hell did he know what and what they didn't want? He wasn't in their head. He was really beginning to cross the line.

Opening her eyes and lifting her head up to look at Greg, Courtney wrinkled her nose in thought. "You know what I think? I think we should have a baby." She nodded for a moment before continuing. "I mean, it's our life, not his. He can't expect us to let him hold our hands and tell us what we do and don't want, right? So why not? We're supposed to live our lives, not waste them bitching at Ryan, and it was probably going to happen eventually, so why not now? Everyone always waits, but why? What's so different about having a baby when you're twenty-something compared to having a baby when you're eighteen?"

I'm Efficient.

"Sorry to say....but you really don't own the world, babe. Who ever told you that you did should really stop humoring you soon." Greg joked, making sure to keep his face as serious as possible. Truthfully, she didn't own the world. But she might as well his his opinion. She'd do a better job at ruling it then anyone else when it came to certain things. That...and he'd be garunteed a spot on top and wouldn't have to worry about serving their new dictator. "Well how was I supposed to know when you were coming home? Or that you would have needs tonight?" Greg raised his eyebrows as he asked her, waiting for her surely to be imaginative response.

"Huh...and so would I but that never seems to stop you from making me suffer." Greg pointed out with a cocky smirk on his lips. He groaned when she changed her position again, continuing to kiss her deeply. Fuck the game, if they tried to keep playing it they were both going to lose. That....or he'd stop playing and Courtney would win. Either way the odds were not in his favor. When she first pulled back from the kiss, Greg looked at her seriously, shaking his head. "You really need to stop shifting like that." He kissed her back, disappointed when she pulled back once again. Furrowing his eyebrows at her comments, Greg once again shook his head. "You suck...you know that?" Why did she always have to win? Even if she wasn't trying to, she did. He really needed to put an end to that. Pulling her shirt over her head, Greg tossed it to the side, seeing no need to her to be wearing a shirt when he wasn't. Nope. Shirts were not needed. "I dunno, babe..." Greg muttered, tracing her bottom lip with his thumb. "...I feel pretty awake all of a sudden. What do you think?" He asked as his hands found her bra clasp. His fingers lingered there, gently stroking the surroudning area to tease her until he got his answer.

"Oh yes I do. Just admit it, babe. It's not that hard. Just repeat after me," Courtney nodded as she continued. "'Courtney owns the world and the human civilization would be ruled by flamingos if she wasn't here to service our great nation.'" It was true, really. Everyone knew that flamingos were prospective evil rulers. They would take over the world if Court hadn't already taken care of that. At his question, she had to take a moment to consider her answer. "Well...I dunno." At his second question she did the same, before repeating herself with a small defeated sigh before a thought struck her and she straightened up. "But you should have done it anyways because I'm unpredictable. So you should have predicted that I would have done something that you wouldn't have predicted I do - which would be having needs for the night because Ryan's an ass and been ruining it - therefore making me unpredictable because what you predicted about contradicting your original prediction would have ended up wrong." Well, if he managed to translate that, he'd slide through university. Courtney couldn't even understand what she had just told him.

"Well a little suffering never hurt anyone." Courtney replied, raising her eyebrows at him challengingly. Her lips curled into a small smirk as Greg let out a groan. She was gonna wiiiin. She was going to win and there was nothing he could do about it. ..Well maybe there were a few things he could do about it but he didn't have to know that, now did he? Exactly. No. He didn't. At his words she gave a small shrug. "I have no idea what you're talking about, babe." Courtney muttered, sliding herself a bit farther down on his waist as he kissed her. Oh, it took a lot not to let that satisfied smirk spread. She had won. About damn time too. She hadn't won in what felt like forever and if this was all it took to win then he'd have to get used to losing.

Courtney lifted her arms as he pulled her shirt over her head and threw it in a direction that she honestly didn't pay attention to. He wasn't wearing a shirt so why should she have to? Exactly. She shouldn't. If they were going to have sex she wasn't going to be wearing a shirt, even though Ryan had attempted to talk her into it. Courtney swore, one day she was going to go over to Ryan's place and have sex with Greg on his bed just to make herself feel better about how much of an ass he was being. Courtney kissed Greg's thumb lightly as it met her lips, figuring she was going to wait a few seconds before answering Greg's question just to be mean. But that idea got pushed out of the picture pretty damn fast as his fingers found her bra clasp and decided to be mean and tease her. At this rate there would be no shower. There was no hell they were going to make it all the way into the bathroom if they kept up like this. Biting down lightly on her bottom lip and closing her eyes, Courtney nodded slowly. "Mmmhmm. Yup. Awake."

"Courtney owns the....flamingoes and they own the human...no. Wait. Yea...no." Greg said, scrunching up his face in confusion. He gave a frustrated sigh and shrugged. "See?! it is difficult, babe." As Courtney sat there and rammbled on about redictions and changing predictions, Greg tried his best to follow. Something that he still didn't find easy, no matter how long he had been with her. Good thing for him...he'd gotten better at it. "But if I were to predicted you'd do something I wouldn't predict you would do, I'd have to predict the thing you wouldn't do otherwise I wouldn't be able to predict that you'd do something I wouldn't predict. And if I could somehow do that, you wouldn't be unpredictable because I would have predicted it all along and would have no need for contradicting myself because I'd be correct with my predictions." Greg smirked as he lay there, waiting to see if she was more shocked that he had followed it or that he had said something in reply that actually made sense. At least, once you thought about it long and hard it did.

"Really now? So you're not going to complain the next time I make you suffer?" Greg asked, nodding to himself as he made a mental note to use that against her later. "I'll have to remember that one, babe." He narrowed his eyes for a second as he realized that the same thing could be used on him but pushed the thought away as he caught the look on her face. It really wasn't fair. Her whole 'winning' thing needed to stop. Now. He didn't like losing and he did to her way to much then he would like. Something would have to be done before he was on a leash and rolling over for her. "Mhm...I'm sure you don't." Greg was going to find a way to get back at her. And she could bet on that one.

Why? Why did she have to sit there and make him wait? What was she getting out of it...besides immense satisfaction on her part that was. A grin spread across his face after she finally answered him. Well, at least she wasn't completely winning. "Good. 'Cause otherwise I think the rest of the night might be pretty boring." Greg rolled over and put his knees on either side of her waist as he flicked her bra clasp open. He never really understood the point of underwear. It just always seemed to get in the way during these kinds of situations. Greg leaned down to kiss her as his hands started work on her breasts. Why the shower couldn't be a few feet away...he didn't know. But once they boiught a different house they would have to make sure to have a private bathroom for them right off their bedroom.

Court grinned at Greg as he attempted to repeat what she had told him to. Pouting at him in mock sympathy, she shook her head. "Poor babe." She shook her head as if she couldn't believe how horrible the world was being to him about it all. And then he started going on about being predictable. Once he finished with that damn smirk on his face, Courtney lay there for a moment, trying to slowly piece together everything to make sense in her head while still not forgetting a piece of it. It was like a puzzle you were putting together on a carpet in a room with a lot of places for the pieces to get lost. "Uhm...Wait...How...I..." Courtney furrowed her eyebrows. It wasn't that she was confused, no, she had managed to decifer what Greg had said just fine. It was that she couldn't decide if she was more confused as to how the fuck he had figured out what she had said correctly when really, she hadn't even know what she was saying, or as to how he had managed to say something in reply that was equally as confusing as what she had said in the first place....If that made any sense at all.

"Well yeah...I will. It's not fair if I have to suffer. Nope. Not fair." Courtney shook her head seriously. Sure, maybe that statement right there wasn't fair either, but who said she played fair, hmm? Exactly. And besides. Playing fair was over-rated and plain. And nobody liked plain. "Nope. No idea." She muttered, shaking her head and kissing him again. "You must be momentarily going insane. Mmmhmm. Must be it."

Courtney just smiled. "And boring's no fun, huh babe?" And then the next thing she knew Greg was on top of her. Hey...She didn't remember agreeing to this. Nothing good was going to come of this. Nope. Nothing good. She was going to lose from under here. Mmhmm. And that was not allowed. Courtney moaned softly into Greg's mouth as he touched her. No. This wasn't fair. Not at all. This was not heading the way it was supposed to. Oh, but it was too late. She was already pulling down his boxers for the second time that night and could already tell he was going to end up winning, most likely. Damn it all to hell.

Greg nodded vigorusly in agreement with her. "Yup. Poor, poor me. I think you might have to kiss it better, babe. Especially since it's you're fault." Really, that was the only way to fix it. The only solution. At least in his mind it was...but that was all that mattered anyway. Greg couldn't help but laugh at her reaction after he had finished speaking. Yup, he had definalty gotten better at that game. And if he wasn't mistaken, the student may be soon surpassing the teacher. "What's the matter, babe? Did I render you speachless again?" He asked with a cocky grin on his face. Yup. He was enjoying this.

"You're just a filthy, littly hypocrite arn't you?" Greg asked with a laugh as he shook his head. Leave it to Court to change her own rules around so they wouldn't effect her. And then when he made rules, she somehow twisted them around on him and not her. That was just plain out cheating. "Mhm, I'm sure that it can't have anything to do with you. Because you wouldn't never do anything to me right?" It was, of course, a rhetorical question. There wasn't an answer needed in the least. They both knew what she was doing and that she wouldn't admit it.

"Nope. Boring's no fun at all." Greg grinned against her lips at her reaction. See, this was much better. Now he wasn't the one suffering with no power to do anything. Nope. Whoever said that turnabout was fair play was a genius. Greg would have to remember to thank him one day. Unless he was dead of course...but he could worry about that later. Kicking his boxers onto the floor, Greg grabbed Courtney's wrists and held them above her head. He broke thieir kiss, only to start planing kisses down her neck, applying a bit more pressure when he reach the nape. "So...babe..." Greg muttered between kisses as he continued to move even lower. "...you mentioned....something about....suffering?" He picked his head up to smirk at her while he slid the fingers of his free hand under the band of her panites. Greg kissed her stomach again, sliding his fingers back and fourth under the line of her panties, barely pulling them down at all. Payback. Yup...it was a good thing. Sure, he was probably going to get it later for this but he still owed her for earlier. She had been the one wearing those damn pants after all.

Courtney rolled her eyes and laughed. She placed a hand on Greg's cheek and looked at him seriously, shaking her head all the while. "Poor babe. How could I have been so horrible?" Courtney asked before kissing him. Poor babe. It was a wonder he still stuck around with all the obvious mental trauma she must've caused him by now. The fact he hadn't gone crazy yet didn't say much for his overall mental being.......He must've been just as insane as she was. Glaring at Greg as he started laughing, Courtney stuck out her tongue childishly at him. "Ass." She mumbled, crossing her arms across her chest and sticking out her bottom lip as she began to pout. "Mmhmm. Whatever floats your boat, babe."

"HEY! I am not a hypocrite! ....You're the hypocrite!" Courtney accused loudly, pointing at Greg as if she had been caught with her hand in the cookie jar and was attempting to convince someone that he had made her do it. "And besides," She continued on stubbornly, "Even if I was hypocrite - which I'm not, by the way - it'd be your fault. You're a bad example." Courtney nodded. At his question she just smirked at him, before shaking her head as if the idea of doing something to him were completely preposterous. And it was. Or at least she'd like everyone to believe it was.

'Nope. Boring's no fun at all.'

Courtney could tell just by this comment that Greg was about to make sure he won. And the worst part was, she couldn't do anything about it. Nope. She couldn't. He had her trapped under there, which really wasn't very nice on his part. All thoughts of winning and losing aside though, she wasn't exactly complaining about being under him now was she? Nope. And she wasn't about to, either. That'd just be stupid. "Hey..." Courtney mumbled as Greg held her hands above her head and began kissing down her neck. "I don't exactly remember ag-....nevermind." Nope. She was done objecting to this. He could do whatever he wanted to her; she really didn't care at the moment. Nope. She didn't. Besides, he could pay for it later when he decided to whine at her about making his lazy ass a sandwich. Picking up her head as Greg did the same, Courtney shook her head. "One day, babe....I'm going to win. And then you'll be sorry." She muttered, laying her head back down once he went back to occupying himself with teasing her. No really. One day he really would be sorry. Taking in a sharp breath as Greg's finges slid under the band on her panties and his lips met her stomache, Courtney felt her breathing become heavy.

Sure, this was all happening a bit later than she would have liked, and sure, they probably weren't even going to make it all the way down the hallway to the bathroom for the shower, and sure, if her brother showed up and made some excuse about how he forgot his cell phone or something the mood would yet again be ruined and Greg would probably skin him alive for having the nerve to interrupt them twice over the course of just a few hours, but Courtney didn't care. None of it mattered at the moment, and frankly, if Ryan showed up again he could wait for them in the living room, because she wasn't going to let him interrupt them. Nope. Not this time.

"I'm not being a hypocrite...not in the least." Greg defened lazily as he continued to grin at her. This argument was going to go anywhere. She would ramble on, trying to get her way until he made her shut up. And that was going to happen very soon. Or, at least she wouldn't be talking about hypocrites for a while. "So? Maybe I like being a bad example. Do you have a problem with that?"

Greg smirked as she stoped talking in mid-protest. Why he ever thought that she could win, he didn't know. It was much to easy to win against her and he was going to make sure he took advantage of that fact. Maybe she could win when it came to pointless arguments, but he had this in the bag. Yup. Too bad for her. She'd just have to get used to it. "Mhm...sure you will, babe. And if you ever do manage to win, I'll flat out admit to you that you're better then me. Deal?" Greg released her wrists and brought his other hand down to join the other. "You know..." He started as he tugged at her panties slightly. "...I think I've changed my mind again. It's too late for this." Greg sighed, moving back up so he was looking down into her eyes again. Propping himself up on his elbow while tracing a random pattern along her collar bone, Greg coked his head to the side. "What do you think, babe?"

"Uh huh. I'm so sure." Courtney muttered, poking Greg in the cheek. "...No. Not really. I'm quite fond of you the way you are, actually. And the fact that you're a seemingly bad example on me pisses Ryan off which is just a bonus, really." She grinned, tracing her fingers along his bottom lip. "You wanna hit him for me next time you see him?" Court asked with a small smile. The idea of being able to hit her brother and not end up having an argument about it afterwards probably sounded really appealing to Greg. It sounded appealing to her, anyways. Really appealing.

Nodding in agreement as Greg released her wrists, Courtney brought her arms back down to her sides. "Deal." Hell, who wouldn't take that deal? It'd be worth trying to win if she'd get to hear him tell her she's better than him. Because really.....She was. He was just too stubborn to admit it otherwise. Yup. That was the only reasonable explanation for it. Anything else was completely preposterous. Mmhmm.

"Well, you know what I think?" Courtney asked with raised eyebrows once Greg was at eye level with her again. "I think that you need to stop being so indecisive, babe. Mmhmm. You do. Make up your mind already. Geeze. And if you're not going to do it then I'm going to go bake something." She told Greg with a firm nod, wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing him. "It's really up to you, but if you make me go make you cookies you're gonna wind up with a cookie and no Courtney, babe." Courtney grinned, shrugging lightly. "But like I said. It's really up to you. If you'd rather wait for a day or two I'll just go into the kitchen now. Yup. Into the kitchen I go. Buh-bye babe." She began pushing him up off of her lightly, just waiting for the objection that was sure to come.

"You're fond of me the way I am, are you? Well...I'll just have to remember that next time you yell at me for something." Sure, he was being a hypocrite by doing exactly what he just told Court she did; change around what the other said to make it work for them. But so what? He was allowed to. She wasn't. It was as simple as that if you thought about it. "You bet. How hard?" If she was going to give him the chance to give Ryan what he deserved, he wasn't going to pass it up. Greg had been holding back for a while now, figuring it would upset Court. After all, she used to get upset when he and Sam went at it last year...why wouldn't she when it came to her brother?

"You sure?" Greg asked with a cocked eyebrow. "This is your last chance to back out and keep your dignity." He never understood why they always seemed to need to challenged one another. It was just the way it was. Then again, he never understood why they always had such talkative sex. It had to be Court's fault. She just couldn't keep her mouth shut for a decent period of time. Nope. Never.

"A lot of things that are of no importance to anyone but you?" Greg asked with fake excitement in his voice. He waved off everything Court preceeded to say, knowing she wouldn't get out of the bed to go make cookies. It was Court...it wasn't what she did. Nope. And she especially wouldn't when he was the one she was in bed with. Hang on...since when was he wrong about this? Just as he was sure that Courtney wouldn't actually move out from under him, he found himself being pushed back. That wasn't right. "Where the hell do you think you're going?" Greg asked her sternly as he pinned her back down on the bed. "You're the only one that still has clothes on...and I think we need to fix that little problem. Don't you?"

Courtney just stuck out her tongue at him. That wasn't fair. "You're not very nice." Since when had he ever told her he was nice? Though the answer was there in her head, Courtney ignored it. There was no need to tell him that or be told again. She'd already been told about three times that night and really saw no need in being told a forth. "Hit him hard as you like." ..Wait. That could end badly. "...Just don't kill him or put him in a coma or something. Alright?"

"Nope. I'ma keep my dignity. See, even if you do win, I always still seem to enjoy myself. So really, either way I'm not losing, huh?" Court shrugged. It was true, really. Either way she wasn't exactly losing now was she? Nope. Sure, he might still be winning but it really didn't matter much to her and it probably never would. "But if you win, babe, you're making me cookies." So what if that didn't make much sense and if he won she should technically be the one doing the baking? Nobody needed to know that.

"Ha. Ha. Ha. You're hilarious, really."

"I told you where I was going, babe." She breathed as she looked up at Greg. He was too pretty. Really. It just wasn't very fair to her at all. She should have gotten a boyfriend who wasn't as pretty as her. It would have saved her a lot of frustration in situations like this. With pretty-ness came lack of willpower on her side of things, and that was just not acceptable. Not at all.

He really needed to stop looking at her like that. Even if he didn't realize it...It worked more in his favor than hers, which everyone knew just wasn't okay. "I'm pretty sure I agree." They needed another bathroom. One closer to the bedroom. Not that Court was arguing; she would go along with this plan just fine, too. Both plans sounded rather nice to her. And there were a few more plans she could think of that they would have to consider putting onto the agenda for the night if he was going to keep being this pretty and looking at her like that.
